Week Five
The following class is designed to wrap up the Inmigración en el mundo hispánico unit plan. If more time is needed to finish up projects, please allow students this in order for them to hand-in well thought out and complete work.
Final Project
Complete the SQA Chart
1. This final project will be the final summative assessment of the unit plan. Provide clear instructions and a marking schema so that students know exactly what will be expected with the completion of this final project.
2. Use the "A" part of the SQA chart as an open-ended question to allow students to share the depth of knowledge that was gained in the unit of study.
3. In the project students must also reflect on and identify similarities and differences between their own culture and other cultures in the hispanic world.
4. Allow for flexibility, if some students would prefer to write a poem, a presentation, create a Prezi, make a video or podcast, or write an essay in order to demonstrate what they have learned during this unit.
